Single-origin cacao grown and crafted entirely in Guatemala. Refined with precision to preserve the full flavor and embodied effects.
Exceptional Flavor. Real Effects. True Origin.
Nantli Cacao produces premium single-origin cacao made entirely in Guatemala. Our approach combines regenerative farming, meticulous processing, and long-term fair partnerships to bring you cacao that’s consistent, expressive in flavor, and deeply felt in the body.
✦ A Better Model for Cacao Starts at the Source:
Guatemala is one of the world’s most biodiverse cacao origins. Rich soil, ancient genetics, and distinct microclimates produce cacao known for its bright, fruity, complex flavor profile.
But the same regions that grow extraordinary cacao have long been impacted by extractive industries — palm oil, sugarcane, mining — leaving forests fragmented and farming families undervalued.
To remedy this, we work directly with Mayan farmers using regenerative agroforestry systems that rebuild native forests, restore soil, and protect wildlife. These long-term partnerships create stability, pay above-market wages, and ensure that value stays with the communities who cultivate the cacao.
✦ Crafted With Precision:
✦ Flavors You Notice, Effects You Feel:
Our cacao carries bright, fruity, and nuanced notes shaped by Guatemala’s fertile soil and diverse microclimates. These are the flavors that naturally develop when the land, the fermentation, and the processing are all in alignment.
Each bean is handled with precision from harvest through refinement, so you experience:
-
- the clear, embodied lift that cacao is known for
- a fuller, more expressive flavor profile
- a smooth, consistent mouthfeel
- a stable, reliable product cup after cup
This is premium cacao defined by the quality of the craft, the care behind each batch, and the integrity of the process from farm to finish.
✦ Vision for the Future:
We’re working toward a cacao model that grows responsibly. One that supports fair relationships with farmers, protects the land, and strengthens the communities connected to this work. As we scale, our focus is on deepening regenerative agroforestry practices and creating more steady, reliable opportunities for the families who grow our cacao.
Our approach is practical and long-term: stay transparent, keep improving our systems, and honor the landscapes and cultures that make this cacao possible.
